This restaurant serves authentic Sundanese cuisine.. Its taste delicious & the place have nice ambience

not so bad for a sundanese food restaurant.. the funny thing is they don't serve take away food so you have to order the food as if you're eating there and then ask the waiter for the food to be brought home because you can't finish it there.

A great local restaurant in Bandung to taste various Sundanese meals. You can choose seat at dinning table or on the floor.Also you can pick packages eating on plate or on banana leaves. Both are good and nice.The location is on main street of Riau Street, but the space for parking is quite tricky during the lunch.

First time spent my time having dinner here. Nasi bakar is definitely my favourite one. The price is reasonable and service is quite good.

the place almost always full during the weekend. there is a lot of variety of menu. parking lot quite small. and for me the price for sundanese food is quite expensive, considering this place is located in sundanese region. and usually if the place is full some food took a pretty long time to arrive

Cost us too much time to wait... The waitress served our food to another tables, how come?After one and a half hour, we eat our small pieces of food served with no satisfy feelings.Lame services.

Back when I visited it was so busy. Orders are delayed and there are people who complains about the long wait. The parking is quite difficult, but the foods are decent taste

I was here with my Sensei and friends to have a gathering. My friend from Bandung recommends this place and made a reservation for us. The location was so easy to spot, since it is located on Jalan Riau. The place and food were nice and delicious. My Sensei really enjoyed eating fried chicken and fried fish. The food here is quite acceptable for a Japanese. Sensei also loved Pisang Aroma. We really enjoyed our lunch. The staffs were very helpful and worked fastly. The price is not really expensive. We could also request additional drinks (4 bottles of Bintang beer since I wanted Sensei to also enjoy cool beer in a sunny Bandung weather), thank you very much. Overall, we satisfied with this Sundanese restaurant.One thing that should be improved is the parking service.

Nice food, best taste

Paviliun Sunda was recommended to by me by serval locals. The recommendations did not disappoint. The staff was very polite and tried their best to speak English. We all had a big laugh with my broken bahasa. I ordered the large fish (asam manas), clams, broccoli with garlic, water spinach, and a young coconut which were all delicious. The request of no sugar and msg were met as well. The staff, quality of food, and ambiance were perfect. I will certainly come back again.

The meals are authentic, the staffs are helpful. Though it has wide parking lots, be prepared for the lack when the weekend comes.

The fundamentals of this restaurant is the great ambience and experience. A rather large property of an colonial style building. A great dinning experience on a long stretch of banana leaf with food spread all over for sharing. Good place for groups gathering over meals. Food quality is not that amazing, fish is not that fresh. Service staff is quite forgetful. Some of my orders did not arrive.Overall a dining venue option for get together.

Good food with affordable price

I came with colleagues for lunch. We took a seat in the back, but we did not know that the place was close to a toilet. So, the smell of the toilet sometimes smells, making eating activity became unpleasant.We like the procedure of serving food. The taste of the foods didn't disappoint, we just enjoyed them. The price is quite affordable if you come together with friends or families. Overall this place is good.

One of the best place in Bandung for Sundanese food.

It is a nice and comfortable place. I have come here almost Everytime i go to bandung. But the last experience will have to change my opinion.Never go to this place during long holiday, the staff are overwhelmed by the work and all the food become tasteless.There are also no smoking area, so people just smoke where they sits. Those with children got no choice to move, since the place is crowded.1

The foods is tasty dan the service is pretty fast. You can choose a variety food with reasonable price. The parking lot is always full, especially during meal times, so better you came before or after the meal time to get parking space.

A good place to experience Sundanese food. They can serve this Sundanese lay-out kind of serving in which they lay leafs all over the table to place the food, and you eat directly from those leafs. The food is just okay, not that great but still acceptable and at least you can experience authentic Sundanese food.

Food and beverages: 2/5. The choices are either fried or grilled. The fried mushrooms was cold. The rice tutuk oncom was good though. Now, that I think of it, they only provide one small glass of drinks per person and does not provide kettle per table.Services: 3/5. Where is the waitress?Toilet: 3/5.

One of the best food in town

Been here for few times now.. I love the fried gurame so much it's crispy and flavourful. My friend that once visited the place say the fish got a bit of soil smell but have never get any of the fish got the smell so I have never disappointed with the fish.The sambal here is actually quite ok just a bit to sweet to my taste but they have other sambal as well like matah, sambal hijau or sambal mangga which I love so much.Price wise I would say it's as expected for restaurant establishment.I would recommend the place to my fried

My favorite sundanese restaurant in the town so far. Their cah kangkung is one of the best. Anyhow, please make a non-smoking room.

The food is okay. Ambience is beyond... all area is smoking area, but they have a good ventilator system so you're not gonna choke by smoke. Still I don't think its good for children thou. Beware of busy hour such as lunch time or dinner time, cause it will crowded and your food took more time to prepare. Above that, the price here incredibly worthed.

Bandung always held a special place in my heart. I and family really happy to visit Bandung for the weekend. And this time, we do try many places. First stop goes to Paviliun Sunda. As usual, I ordered bunch of dishes. Let me introduces it all to you guys. I ordered Udang Bakar Madu (Honey Grilled Shrimps), Nila Goreng (Fried Tilapia, you can choose between fried / grilled for this dish), Ayam Bakar Ala Paviliun (Paviliun Style Grilled Chicken), Tahu Goreng (Fried Tofu), Tempe Mendoan (Fried Tempe in Seasoned Flour Batter), Gepuk (Sweet Fried Beef), Sop Buntut (Oxtail Soup) and Nasi Pepes Bakar (Grilled Pepes Rice). Overall, i'm pretty satisfied with all the dishes, only their Nila Goreng (Fried Tilapia) is really smells fishy and not fresh at all, this dish totally ruin my meal at Paviliun Sunda 😭. Their nasi liwet is tasty and well seasoned. I also tried pepes ayam which is so tender and tasty. However their cendol doesn't meet my expectation. Cendol is not soft.

Every time I go to Bandung I have to eat here. I love love love this food and it’s so cheap.

Food is not great for my preference. Sambal and other cookings are (way) more on the sweet side. Price is okay, but could get better food from other restaurant with same price range.
